Katarzyna Szymielewicz  is a lawyer specialised in human rights and technology. She is co-founder and president of Panoptykon Foundation – a Polish NGO defending human rights in the context of contemporary forms of surveillance. Katarzyna is also a vice-president of European Digital Rights – a coalition of 33 privacy and civil rights organisations - and a board member of Tactical Technology Collective and Amnesty International (Poland). Member of the Council for Digitisation in Poland. Graduate of the University of Warsaw (Law) and the School of Oriental and African Studies (Development Studies). Since Z E P H I R O focuses greatly  is on communications and Internet and their relation to sexual and identity freedom, Katarzyna's expertise is invaluable to us. 

Milda Macenaite is a PhD researcher at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society, the Netherlands. She carries out multidisciplinary research into the legal and social implications and regulation of emerging technologies. She is also a legal expert and consultant for several NGOs and associations in Lithuania and Belgium, particularly focusing on privacy, data protection and consumer rights. Milda holds a Research Master in Law (LLM) from Tilburg university, a Master of Arts in International Relations from Central European University (Budapest) and a Master’s degree in Law from Vilnius University in Lithuania. Milda's particular focus on children and privacy online makes her expertise invaluable in our work on Interner filtering mechanisms for LGBT+-related content and the complex rationales involved in the debate on the protection of children in the digital universe.
