Z E P H I R O envisions a society in which all human beings are respected and no one is confined to oppressive mandatory paradigms of sexual and gender roles – thus everyone can meaningfully and freely lead the life they chose. We believe that elimination and bringing an end to the privileging and superiority of hetero-normativity in our society is essential to the protection of a real autonomy and human dignity of every person. In order for individuals to fully and meaningfully engage with one another and realize their potential, the developments in societal perceptions, law, education, technologies and art must strengthen and not undermine the ability to freely lead and enjoy the life one chooses to lead.

 

Our mission is to fight, combat and eliminate all forms of the institutionalised and deeply ingrained oppression of the hetero-normative gender and sexual roles. Until every human being can enjoy their rights whatever their gender & sexual identity and expression is, we will continue with our efforts.
